I’ve come to accept that photography reflects my darkest, most fearful—yet at the same time, most peaceful—side, while music and dance express my energetic, wild, and humorous nature. I don’t know if I’ll ever be a good DJ, but I believe I’ll be able to blend these mediums and create a project.

Üniversite zamanı yapılan işleri incelerken çoğu zaman aidiyet kavramı çıkardı karşıma. Nedir bu aidiyet, derdim. Neden bu kadar konu oluyor? Doğduğun/yaşadığın yerle alakalı olmayabilirmiş, insan bedenine bile ait hissedemiyormuş bazen. Ve sanırım bunu anlamam için büyümem gerekiyormuş.

When I first came to this hill I was reading The Colony by Audrey Magee by then. I still go there and imagine the two men in the book - yet I took these photos that symbolize it. I love how mental imagery works.
