100% Agree. I’ve hated that phrase from the beginning, along with “I support our Troops!”. Like, support how? Have you demanded your congressman pass laws to increase active duty pay so that families didn’t need SNAP or WIC to live? Or increase VA funding for those wounded? Or just a bumper sticker?

Absolutely. *And we want them there*. It makes people pay less attention to the good groups actually working for us. It’s not so much they’ve been “allowed” to be the public face as much as they’ve been left out in the cold to face the world by themselves.
