I think there's a word for that
The current Israeli government is working methodically to prevent the prospect of a Palestinian state from ever being established. It has pursued an unrelenting policy of settlement expansion in the West Bank, which is illegal under international law. Its sustained assault in Gaza has killed tens of thousands of civilians, displaced well over one million people, and caused a devastating and preventable famine in violation of international law. It is now the avowed policy of the current Israeli government that ‘there will be no Palestinian state’.

Statement from Josie Osborne: "When kids are sick and need medical treatment away from their home, they need their families nearby. The BC Family Residence Program provides critical support for families to pay for accommodations in a difficult time. While there has been no reduction in base funding for this year, I understand that Variety's costs have increased which required them to make changes to their eligibility criteria and benefit levels. "I have directed my ministry to work with the PHSA, Variety and partners on options to ensure families can continue to receive these supports and that these restrictions are lifted. I have told them to move as quickly as possible, so as not to add further stress and uncertainty to families with sick kids across the province."
