I've been cautious like that since 2020. Watching everyone give up masks and passively participate in eugenics kind of killed my hope, even given the small difference I make. Maybe humanity will surprise me but I doubt it.

Given the way things are going with the current pandemic, I don't hold out a lot of hope for humanity.
