These things are always subjective. Wong Kar-Wai for sure. Boyhood? Well….there are better Linklater films. Before Sunset (Boyhood is a bit of a one trick pony for me).

I saw this for the first time as a child over the Christmas period or leading up to Christmas. That was its tv debut! Gosh, it was surprisingly eerie. Totally agree with you. Still holds up I think. Still watch it on a regular basis.

Turning 40, but still sounds crisp and relevant, yet so 80s. High contender for my fav 80s album (fwiw). ❤️❤️❤️ still swoon when I listen.
