I wouldn't know - this is my first ever FF game! But that makes a lot of sense.
I'd love to see ARC >> RNG and see BRD as a buff-focused healer or something.

Don't play songs, kids. Music (and bows, apparently) are for nerds. Either shoot things with guns or dance to make your singular friend look awesome. Either way, people will like you more for doing it.

I love Archers. Love them. Main weapon in any game I can pick a bow.
BRD in XIV ruined that. It's the least bow-focused role I've ever seen. Nothing makes sense or synergizes with anything else; levelling it up felt awful. Melds are awful. Food too. Raiding; you're third choice. ARC deserves better

Yeah that's fair. I try not to do combat because I'm pretty bad at framing, but I'm worse at posing, so I try to use existing game animations to "build" a pose most of the time, which led to my expression question. xD

Yeah Reaper effects specifically vary so much from frame to frame that you kind of have to. That's pretty much what my screenshot folder looks like too! 😂

Mm yeah, I've done that a couple times, but I have a hell of a time with like...combat animations and catching the particles while also keeping the expression "frozen" if that makes sense? So I end up playing it out again, then I forget to mash the expression blend, so then I go AGAIN, and so on..
