noticed THX1138 is back on hbo max so I’m having another go of it. I wish it were as widely known as Star Wars. I love the ambiguities in THX1138–it’s dystopian anxiety, it’s depiction of religion and society. Oh and Donald Pleasence. Lucas captures some core anxiety of our modern existence.
