Insects and birds are tightly linked. To help one, you have to also support the other. Native plants are so, so important for providing habitat and forage for insects, particularly pollinators.
Almost all birds primarily eat insects. The seeds you put in feeders? They keep the adults going but seeds are not what birds raise their young on.

To save birds, we have to boost insect populations.

Anyone out there really keen on video posts for social media? I'm looking for suggestions for apps that allow video editing and easy uploads to instagram in particular. I have issues when I want to work with high quality video that isn't always from a phone (ex. Go pro). 📱#videoediting #socialmedia

I just saw "that will feed two birds with one scone" as an alternative to the current idiom. I want to use this next time and see what kind of reaction it gets!

So I very occasionally get the chance to make art - it's been 2 years since I've painted but would like to start up again. I'd love to follow some folks to see the beauty of their work for inspiration. #sciart #natureart #watercolor #pencilcrayon

You know what's neat about this platform? Posts about public health not being spammed by unhinged anti-vaxxers. This is honestly where all the cool kids went. In other news, my fifth covid shot is onboard and I'm glad for it.
