I'm in a NJ suburb nestled between interstate highways, where Roundup flows freely and insecticides get sprayed from trucks to ineffectively kill mosquitoes. Despite The chemicals, heat, and endless pavement, monarchs still find their way to my tiny patch of aphid-covered milkweed. Blows my mind.
