Dawg I am pointing out some obvious facts about symbolisms and iconography, how they are used to communicate and are understood. None of that really changes the fact of "national flags are easily understood symbols for their respective nations, even if they incorporate symbols with broader concepts"

when someone posits a rhetorical question along the lines of "nobody's genuinely stupid enough to X" you're not supposed to chime in with "No, I am!"

you do get that by that I mean like, for example "being able to understand the concept that the Saudi Flag in a political cartoon could possibly represent Saudi Arabia and not Muslims/Islam as a whole just because the entire design is 'the shahada on a solid green background"

curiously they never encounter this same difficulty whenever it comes to any other flag with some sort of religious iconography

i.e. the well-documented, and not secret military/paramilitary collaboration between America and Israel. Israel's crimes are Israel's alone, regardless of whether or not it declares itself to be "The Jewish State"

and by "have trouble" I mean are deliberately obtuse

considering how as a medium, political cartoons aren't known for their subtlety or hard-to-parse symbolism, people frequently have trouble understanding concepts like "The Israeli Flag represents Israel"

Also: when an account whose whole brand is built around pointing out ableism/racism/sexism boosts astroturfing "they're protesting wrong, aktually" content, I think less of you! I unfollow, mute, and block because it shows you care more about your brand than solidarity in protest!

Just in general, folks, if you see a "leftish" argument-- like "that's ableism/racism/sexism" for an extremely popular and effective protest tactic, guess what! It's not any of those things!
