English is way harsher on repetition than Japanese, so part of a light novel translator's job is tweaking the wording so it says the same shit, but without sounding redundant.
I thought I'd do a rundown of a few tricks that help with this.

An art high school has an exhibit up in Sapporo Station, and the work is fantastic. These are all pretty big, & the subject matter is hilarious 😆 This giant electric bear attacking Sapporo as animals & people flee in terror was my favorite, though a runner-up was deer aliens invading & taking over.

Chocolate Malt ice cream with chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate peanut butter cups, and brownie bits.
Never been big on malt but this was mostly undone by how bad the pretzels are. I've had them be good in ice cream so these are clearly just not good enough.
