I own companies tied to war and climate denial through my index fund.

Could switch to ESG, but those funds have issues too.

So I keep the imperfect portfolio and redirect the time/wealth saved toward direct impact.

Is this ethical laziness or pragmatic Buddhism? What would you do?

Today we lost Jonathan Clements, who showed us how to live fully even facing mortality. A few months ago, I wrote about his decision to renovate his bathroom while battling stage IV lung cancer—a beautiful example of finding meaning in the present moment. R.I.P., Jonathan.

Buffett stepping down at 94 hit me harder than expected. We deny death in the West—sanitize it, hide it, fight it. But his honest acknowledgment of mortality might be his greatest lesson: facing impermanence opens the door to more intentional living.

🐒 The stock market trades billions of shares daily while our brains process many gigabytes of data.

Only 0.0005% reaches consciousness. Maybe that's why investing feels so overwhelming?

The Clash sang about the Mag 7 in 1980—same year GM was the 7th biggest company globally. Now GM scrapes the bottom of the S&P 500 & NVIDIA is worth more than Japan's entire economy. Buddhist impermanence isn't just philosophy—it's market reality. How do you invest knowing nothing lasts forever?
