This new red chimichurri they have is really oily but flavorful. Not sure I'd pour the whole thing like they do in the ads.

An unremarkable lunch at Chipotle. But I think it's important to go to chain restaurants every once in a while to get some idea that you aren't out of touch.

The sad truth is that most places in the PNW are incapable of making a burrito as well balanced as Chipotle.

Hard to evaluate because I got chicken tenders on "hot."

Holy God I can't feel my tounge. I don't remember this being that brutal when I had it in Nashville.

Chicken sandwich on medium was mild, but the tenders on hot were like 6x that. Wish there was in between.

Chickens juicy, fries not great

Dave's hot chicken just opened. But of course there is a giant line.

So trying crimson coward which was a place I was eyeing a while nearby in Bellevue.

Morning. Here's a childhood fantasy that never existed.

(the never existing part is me enjoying congee as a kid :p)

That was the fastest blood work I've ever gotten.

I used a self checking kiosk and was at a table drawing blood in under 5 minutes.

Impressive.

I'm not joking that this could be at a Michelin star restaurant.

It comes off as one of those joke desserts there except they replicated everything to the extreme, including the sauce packets.

It's fun, flavors are sophisticated with mango habanero sauce, and ancho cinnamon ice cream.

Got a lot of stuff to look forward to in Redmond I guess.

Pakistani food truck for lunch

Might seem expensive but the lamb pulao is a lot of lamb. Like a pound of cooked lamb.

Well seasoned, tender wish there was more heat or customization if heat. Fantastic rice.

I don't know how you evaluate Poke. At some point it becomes that subway meme of "my brother in christ you made the bowl!"

Went back again. Got mango mochi.

Surprisingly good mango for out of season, one of the best flavors I've had.

Sichuan beef is actually surprisingly balanced in heat. Not ass out end and just pleasently hot, numbing and flavorful.

Really nice cocktails too.

Total came out to $320 before tips for 5 people. Recommend you come during Peking duck happy hour instead :p

Picked up squirrel fish as well. A very rare dish I only know one other restaurant that does it.

Vegetable fried rice is fine but kind of expensive at $20. Beef chow fun is good with present wok hei but Calgary is better.

Tofu eggs with seafood is surprisingly really good.

Barons sinos today.

Thought it was restaurant week. It ended yesterday so paying full price today :p

Best thing is the Peking duck. One of the best I've had for how they do their crispy skin. Honestly to me more preferable the Quan Ju De. $60 on special on weekdays.

Grabbed a strawberry matcha soy milk latte from matcha magic.

I like the default sweetness level, it's not overly sweet and lets the flavor of the strawberry and matcha through.

Extra crispy skin. Kind of a salt sugar msg and white pepper seasoning comes with it.

A bit dry but it's grocery store fried chicken under a heat lamp. Might have to try again if I can catch it if it's fresher.

Egg tarts are amazing as always even cold.

Absolutely jam packed at t&t 4pm Saturday. Went to pick up fried chicken and egg tarts for a party.

EMS outside made me afraid I'm not going to get fried chicken again XD.

Their breakfast sandwich is great too. On house sourdough with great cooked eggs.

Not much of a looker but we'll balanced and executed mine with salmon lox and capers, and my husband's with turkey and cheese.

Amazing baked goods to I remember getting their bread pudding it's fantastic.

I should really come down here more often.

The espresso roast is just what I want. Not highly acidic, not deep charcoal burnt. A true medium roast.

This cinnamon roll is one of the best I have had since it isn't drenched in cream cheese. Soft, warm, lightly sweet.
