The valid comparator for GLP1Ra’s is another hypoglycemic agent, not a group with diabetes that is not on any specific hypoglycemic. Ideally, this should be an agent that with the same indications as GLP1Ra’s.

Causal diagrams can help illustrate the relationship between missingness and observed variables, while incorporating auxiliary variables (predictors of missing values not included in the main model) in multiple imputation can reduce bias and improve efficiency
