The movie is great for sure, but the show ending of Spike falling on the stairs hit me in a way no other media ever had before, and that's hugely thanks to Yoko Kanno, I've been riding that high for over 20 years
Cowboy Bebop The Movie is a fitting send off for these characters. I'd only seen the movie before the show so while I had enjoyed it, it didn't have a strong impact on me until having gone through the show.
Also ignore whoever says you have to watch this in chronological order, that's just goofy.
