My keychron k3 max similarly has an odd “screenshot” button right above backspace.
I sometimes hit it by accident, and then get confused why my keyboard is not responding to any clicks.

I can relate since I was doing the same in hollow knight. Eventually I got stuck with 99% completion and unable to beat one last hard arena 😭
