People have to get ready for Vince and Trump to both be there. I look forward to people who paid hundreds of dollars, at least, for a seat to complain about the company they’re supporting’s politics that have been very clear for years now.

Exactly. It's harder to manufacture consent (the Times' core purpose) if everyone thinks our leaders are imbeciles and the government is illegitimate. While you may disagree with them, our leaders are serious and competent people chosen by a real and functional meritocratic democracy ;)
