9 people were killed in a tornado last night in KY. The NWS office responsible for that area has faced some of the most extreme cuts by the Trump administration, including the loss of overnight forecasting.

Our mayor is so out of touch with the city's position and has such a lack of political capital right now 🤦♂️. I just do not understand the push to keep pushing forward things that will fail

I get so sad and frustrated by friends who bike for the first time (ever or in a while) in Chicago and hate their experience.
It is always; always because of cars.
Never because they hated the act of riding, the time it took, or the effort it might have taken. It's always just the cars.
