Confusing traditional cultural touchpoints for current median American culture is a great way to lose the zeitgeist. If responsibility for guarding the Constitution falls to the Court alone, it's not clear why the President and lawmakers should be required to take their own oaths. The better reading is that they too are obliged to stand up against unconstitutional goings on. /7
