I think I would have heard of it before now

I genuinely don’t remember if the version of the pledge at my Christian school ended “God” or “Him” but I think it was him.

I (American, Southern, suburban) always assumed there was a “real name” for pigs in a blanket because it’s such a silly name.

Even though it’s a misunderstanding, my wife and I are incorporating a version of this into our Christmas celebration. We’re both excited to see what book the other one picked out for us.
