Ah thanks, I missed that wind was part of it. For the BESS, perhaps one could add it as growth in %age share of electricity demand?

That is a good point. I always use the example of the Taum Sauk hydro storage in my lectures. Great story, check it out!
Would be good to compare environmental damage per kWh with minig for battery materials. And mining for coal, oil, and gas.

I'm not sure we should look at the IER for unbiased information about the future energy supply.

I think these are not the residential ones. I am guessing most of them in cars as 12V batteries.
