A new tool as funding is being cut:

Clinics and programs at the state and local level can now use the updated STIC Figure 2.0 tool to calculate the impact of their STI and HIV prevention activities, including estimating the number of adverse outcomes prevented: journals.lww.com/stdjournal/abs….

Measles outbreaks cost A LOT of money. Societal costs of the 2018 Clark Co, WA outbreak cost society-the taxpayer-$3.4 million ($47 479 per case or $814 per contact).
Cost of measles vaccine=$25 per dose ($50 for a 2 shot regimen) + MA/RN to administer.
