Some works are just too personal to hand off. When Steve Gerber left HOWARD THE DUCK, it just never worked in other hands. Some were terrible, some were fine, but they weren't really Howard.

I find it hard to believe that Al wrote them as well, but I haven't found any evidence to the contrary! Yeah, every sample I've seen has been beyond the pale bad.

Yeah, I do feel like Google, AI, etc. have gotten worse at their jobs. Happily, real humans on Facebook figured out that the cover in question is from DOTTY DRIPPLE #15!

Yeah, it definitely looks like some sort of Dagwood knockoff, but which one...I don't know!
