Very sad to hear that Catherine O'Hara has died. My favorite O'Hara works were the first I saw her in (SCTV) and the last (SCHITT'S CREEK). I also loved her in anything, everything inbetween. R.I.P.

New commission: what if AMAZING FANTASY had continued with Spider-Man facing monster-ous foes? This one is based on Steve Ditko artwork from AMAZING ADULT FANTASY #9 and AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #17. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board.

Decided to give today's background entertainment a theme! They aren't very similar (except in name), although there is a breakdown of civilization vibe in both. Which I relate to right now.

I was very sad to hear that Sal Buscema died over the weekend. Today would have been his 90th birthday. My first exposure to Sal was buying AVENGERS #69 at my local drugstore. After that, I was always happy to see his name show up in a book. R.I.P.
