I honestly think there is just something wrong with me. And now as I’m thinking about it, analyzing it: I am seeing other times this has happened over the years. These were people I really loved and cared about, but I was not important enough to them to continue the relationship at the same level.

my “friends”. Only they didn’t want to and I clearly was not getting the hint that they didn’t want me around anymore. FAST FORWARD 20ish years: the same thing happens with all of the friends I made during my ex-relationship. Even friends that weren’t introduced by that partner. I was the pariah.
