I get it, that's the impression it gives from afar. I'm not much for glitz & malls. It's not just Dubai, malls, skyscrapers, though. The people can be the warmest you've ever met. The wild areas have austere beauty.

"Trail of the Dream Titans", illustration for Numenera, 2017. Really quite a milestone piece. It showed what was possible with clients that trusted me to create something interesting from scratch, no brief or prompt of any kind.

And I'm finished with my rendition of 'The Defect'! The Littlest Art Director (my son) took an interest in this piece, insisting I add the eyes peering out of the shadows as well as "more shading, Baba, do more shading". #slaythespire
