Feeling annoyed at the cognitive cost of having to dismiss all the offers of "AI" assitance every time I use Acrobat to provide feedback on documents my students wrote. (NO I do NOT want an "AI" summary of this. In what world???)

Decided to check settings:

Brilliant show in Oslo last night. Everybody should see this band.

Thank you. Interesting to me that the populist leader, in this definition, divides society into two "artificial groups". I guess its not populism if there really is an elite opposed to "the people". In the U.S., it seems like criticism of "populism" usu works to validate centrist Dems.

Would be interesting to know how they define "populist"? Also, aren't 'populists' more likely to win elections when economic conditions are already bad?

I loved when Lewis was standing in the back, and as the pianist soloed, he was so inspired by what he played that he would join in and contribute to the solo.

Yes - absolutely. I couldn't agree more. Ellison's essays are among the most insightful things I have ever read on jazz. As for Murray, while I disagree with a lot of his assessments, I have a very vivid memory of the first time I cracked open _Stomping the Blues_ and read about "blue devils".
