If you want to make anything that calls for high fructose corn syrup, rice syrup (which is just rice going through autolyse and evaporated to get to a syrup consistency) is a perfect substitute. It’s sooooo good in pecan pies as the flavor of sweetness from it is surprisingly close to agave syrup.
