I had a brief period when mounting my bike was incredibly difficult because I'd been teaching Pickle how to and started to think about it while I was doing it. It lasted a good 14 months

Yet it’s the kind of qualified, thoughtless manoeuvre you do on a bike, a bricklayer or glazier does every day without conscious thought. What makes it seem complex is thinking about it.
