Serious question, is her lawyer incompetent, or is there something else going on behind the scenes? None of the standard operating procedures of an emergency habeas motion seem to have been followed by Ms. Slatton. No emergency motion, no expedited hearing, etc.

I agree that it isn't well written, but it seems factual if slightly questionable. We know for a fact that doge did cut Adobe subscriptions to at least some federal employees. A large percentage got them back.

My primary take away is that calling it the Interim docket is nonsensical and asinine.
"Why, therefore, didn’t the Court... Who knows?
"Every aspect of the interim orders process is... discretion-laden"
"Every aspect of the shadow dockets process" makes significantly more sense.

You're an immigration lawyer, so maybe you know what's going on. As far as I can tell from the docket, there is no motion for an emergency hearing, or even a motion for an expedited briefing schedule. None of the documents her lawyer claims to have, have been submitted either. Any idea why?

I'm not sure that anyone in the Fed right now deserves to be addressed respectfully.

To this story than it appears. There should be a motion for emergency relief, or an expedited briefing schedule, there should be exhibits submitted (like Ms. Diaz's birth certificate), and yet as far as the docket shows...nothing. /3

Easier to talk to interested parties. I really hope someone associated with investigative legal media picks this case up, because either the lawyer (Victoria Slatton) is horrendously incompetent, despite being a partner at a mid sized law firm that specializes in immigration, or there's more /2

Alright, I'll bite, what "pending proceeding" do you think she obstructed? As far as I can tell, ICE already had a final order of removal. The proceedings were finished.

So just to be clear, the President claims to have declared a schedule 2 drug as a weapon of mass destruction? Did anyone tell him that the WMD definition is based on a statute and quite clearly doesn't cover drugs?
