Added enemy juggling (which will have some specific purposes). Ignore the enemies on the side of the screen appearing dead - they're fiiiiiiiine.

For now, the working title of the game is When Jacob Goes a-Walkin'

Okay! Got some quirks worked out of my Godot game - movement feels a lot more intuitive. Just a couple small tweaks, and I'll program the end of the level and transition to level 2.

Throw a few enemy sprites in there, and yep, I'm digging this.

The black at the bottom, btw, will be the HUD. Guess I don't NEED to include it here, but too bad :P

Adjusted the graphics, and honestly, this is pretty close to what I want for the visuals. Probably a bit more of a torn edge effect on the lanes, but otherwise, I dig the general look.

I've decided I'm probably gonna make ALL of the art stuff done by Jacob van Maerlant. He's the one who did this dorky elephant, and all of his art is kind of amazing. Been combing every page of his manuscripts to find my personal highlights

Variable jump height depending on how long you hold jump
Momentum
Clearly distinguishable lanes

Probably time to work on an enemy to test that out

Current Dwarf Fortress problem: I captured some crundles and used them to defend my fortress entrances. Unfortunately, they reproduce QUICKLY. I've now got 109.

There! New platformer now has four lanes of movement. There's a little impreciseness with moving up in the video, but I've already fixed that.
