You need to start in the shallows. A really guided inquiry process where the teacher explicitly guides Ss through the inquiry process and upskills Ss in the process of inquiry with explicit instruction. As Ss build up the skills, you can let them swim deeper!

I think at some point we need to talk about how we get students to unpack inquiry. And how explicit this is. Trevor MacKenzie has a bunch of amazing resources on inquiry learning. An amazing PL if you ever get the chance. #EduSkyAU

Living in a #ND family means sometimes doing things a little differently.
