Rep. Seth Moulton: "It's amazing how quickly this administration releases videos that they do what the public to see, and how many excuses they'll come up with for videos they don't want the public to see…The American public deserves to see what's happening."

I am unclear on the term Narcoterrorist. I have never heard of a drug dealer who wants to kill his customers. The idea is to make money, not kill. Americans are killing themselves. Also, why are we not bombing Budweiser and Philip Morris factories, contributing to 'killing' 750,000 Americans a year?

What would happen if a US patrol boat strayed into Venezuelan waters and was hit by a missile, destroying the boat and killing nine. Venezuelans say they thought it was some sort of attack as has been threatened. Then they shot another that killed two survivors in the water. What would we think?

Bitcoin’s price is the clearest and most responsive reflection of human fallibility ever created.

Wouldn't it be nice if, when asked, The Democratic politicians would just reply that the only thing they're going to work on until the midterms is enacting the 25th amendment? (Come on, you know Vance would go for it 🙂). It's time to change the game.

@1basemoney.bsky.social I hope you are enjoying your time away! When you return it would be great to see you do a video about the juxtaposition of power log roast with the s-curve of technology adoption. How do you see the s-curve reflected in power laws? Natural law versus behavioral trend? Thanks!

Working with these AI models is kind of like how I imagine working with Hoffman's Rain Man would have been. Brilliant and amazingly helpful yet naive and completely wrong about some things 🙂

Perhaps this is why Republicans are encountering trouble in Red States. In the U.S., public-sector employment share tends to drop as population density rises. Rural counties rely more on govt jobs, while urban areas skew private. Seems obvious but the chart is more starkly defined than I expected

@1basemoney.bsky.social Matthew I've been following your power law model noodling around on your last few videos, really interesting! "Pulling a value forward in time" Doesn't that just mean that Bitcoin is now exhibiting the volatility that it would be expected to at a larger size in the future?

I have to say I didn't really realize what was going on until Trump opened my eyes to the truth.
Turns out I run a perpetual and large trade deficit with Trader Joe's.
Those bastards have been taken advantage of me for years.
I'm going to demand a 50% discount based on this unfair arrangement.

There's an unmistakable inference from this gold card immigration idea: people wealthy enough to afford this will be "good" people...Or at the very least more 'capable' than regular people.
How would we decide what is bad enough to not be able to buy a gold card? Who are the deciderers?

@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com also, please begin showing us images of the results of these gop program changes. Pictures are worth more than 1000s of words by well dressed representatives. It's ok to shock Americans, we need it.

@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com Tonight you told us that $57,000 is justifying a $40 billion cut but just hearing it verbally doesnt show us what 0.0001425% looks like. This will come up again. Get a graphics guy to show us a reusable everyday image we can use to grok tiny justifications or excuses!
