restarted the game from the ground up, got all the necessary things in place - items, monsters, leveling, descending, all the good stuff

changes are being made to my lil roguelike game but it's still coming along

- learned how to do cellular automata-based map generation
- day/night cycle implemented
- FINALLY figuring out how making ui in godot actually works

fiddling with some 3d stuff, made a model, experimenting with rigging to make a first person pov model as well

randomly generated 3d levels as well, basic algorithm but will be expanding on it in the future to make it cooler

something i enjoy about being a spirituality nerd is that i can worship the way i want with the aesthetics i prefer

eventually when i build a demon altar, they'll be made of things like chiseled boulders, bones, antlers, real primal indo-european things

pixel art based off of warcraft 1 - decided to downsize from 32x32 to 16x16 to make creating art/animations easier since this is the first game i'm working on

in other news, i've discovered how to make databases for creatures, objects, and items in godot!

ps tileset will change.

working on updating an old launcher for my private server, spent several weekends thinking on it before realizing i just had to modernize the .NET framework so that verification between the computer and the server could happen safely LOL

literally just an option i had to switch in visual studio
