I am surprised that Fallout show is really good. Tight FX, nice actors and really interesting story to follow due to it being in the interesting world.

It also gives me hope for Fallout 5

Whenever someone asks me about „AI” (LLMs actually), these are my points usually with why it caused more harm than good. LLM is a tool and a good one for many situations, but I kinda wish it never existed, because our world is driven by bad actors and greed
AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

Gmail is so fucking stupid without smart features to which they have forced AI crap… Why can’t you be normal, Google?

Unity sent an email about Arbitrary Code Execution vurnerability stating from Unity 2017. They’ve sent patches for this for all major and minor versions of the engine, but that’s super bad for games that are no longer supported properly

Also, who tf sends such emails on Friday? Come on man

Ah yes, „security”. Forcing developers to have Google Play Developer enrollment (that costs 25 bucks) and limiting modding apps (what makes Android great). Brilliant. That while losing in the court for being a monopoly.

Google are just so… ugh
A new layer of security for certified Android devices
Starting in 2026 and in select countries first, Android apps must be registered to a verified developer in order to be installed.

What exactly are they trying to achieve with age checks for adult content in UK?

Life… ehm… finds a way. No checks would be sufficient enough to stop people from accessing content that they are not supposed to access.

Work on your education, not restrictions.

Looking at another paywall, but by @theverge.com and I come to understand how much I hate subscriptions for newsletters, but it begs the question…

How are the journalists supposed to earn money in the modern internet?

Someone asked me what I thought of VR games in general in 2025 on our discord. I spent too much time writing this so figured I'd share it elsewhere. This is written off the top of my head so apologies for overbroad generalizations. Coffee-shop tier banter.

What the hell is this iOS 26? It has no new features, but features ugly glass vista style design?

Is this Apple’s downfall?

Had to spend 2 hours to figure out how to restore my computer. This weekend I updated Nvidia drivers, assuming that they have fixed most issues with multimonitor setups that there were. I was wrong. I got black screen with loading wheel. DDU + old driver fixed it.

Disney’s Daredevil is such a letdown.

I enjoyed the start of it, but inability to finish the story, to instead reset things for new seasons is a deal breaker for me.

Let us have finished stories and not infinite cliffhangers, please. I really like Daredevil and his character!

Do we actually need to many software updates? I feel like I updated my MacOS a week or two ago and now, I have another fricking update. It takes forever and the OS keep bugging you to update it.

Let’s stop making so frequent updates for devices I don’t use often. Please

Let’s collectively stop making satire to not give them any ideas. All satires that I’ve been watching are more like documentaries than comedy

You are watching something like Mikey 17 and asking yourself „But what is being satired here? They would definitely have done that or already did”

Last two or three episodes of Severance feel like someone is dragging cat by the balls. So much wasted time for sake of more runtime with traditional cliffhangers ©️

This is why I love movies. Short, concise and usually finished.

I just hope it will be worth it next week
