From an overall quality standpoint the PS5 is good. Traditionally it’s the exclusive games that people want to define a console, and PS5 doesn’t match previous here generations since a lot were either also on PS4 or eventually came to PC. But games available on PS5 make it a great place to play.

Oh man that was such a drag when I last played Galaxy. Huge improvement. Been hearing the games looks amazing on Switch 2 also. Once I wanna play Galaxy 2 again I might have to bite…

So I played 3 houses (just blue lions route) and I have missed any discourse around this game. The new one does look to be related in story somehow but that’s all I got. Is about what’s canon or something else?

Messed around with the setting some and looks like the game gives me 4K 60fps or 1080p 120fps when the high frame rate setting is enabled, so not sure how to set that to 1440p but my guess is that’s the disconnect.

Not sure what the exact resolution is if it’s 1440p but it looks good to me. The framerate setting within the game does state the resolution would be reduced. So unless I’m missing some setting in comparison it should all be working for me? Just to add more details I have a C4.

So oddly enough I remember encountering the issue a few months back with the welcome tour minigame. I completely forgot about it but it’s been working on my LG OLED (2024) just fine all day. Not sure if there was any update from Nintendo or LG specifically to address this. HDR is also enabled.

I had the pixel brightness at 5 and didn’t have much an issue form maybe 10 feet away, might depend greatly on lighting too

I played well over 100 hours of Uncharted 3 as a teen, but when they were shutting down the PS3 servers I went back to where it started, Uncharted 2. Such a simply yet really fun online mode. Plus it had Glowzor which was rad.

I also imported a Japanese Jack Bros and need to play it more but it’s hard to wake up and say today is the day I marathon another virtual boy game lol

Of the ones that I own, I fully completed VB Wario Land and it might be my favorite of all of WL games. Mario’s tennis is fine, good. Only played a little bit of Mario Clash and Teleroboxer but they’re pretty cool for the system. Haven’t tired galactic pinball or vertical force yet!

Can confirm, waited in line for probably half an hour but it gave me ten minutes to buy and it went through on my card, so should be good

I’d like to get the Zelda amiibo and the GCN NSO controller depending on availability. Otherwise mainly just sticking with Mario Kart and maybe the camera.
