Good turnout for the Beckenham Police Meeting last night. Lots discussed and some great police ops reducing crime. One key message: don’t share photos or comments online (Facebook) about a suspected offender as this can prejudice a future court case so the CPS won’t prosecute.

Well done Beckenham Green Friends. Chloe-Jane set up the Friends Group some years ago and it’s gone from strength to strength thanks to the amazing volunteers.
Nice to catch up with Beckenham Green Friends this morning . Thanks to the Mayor of Bromley for joining us to litter pick while other friends tidied, gardened and moved a fence.

We continue to oppose the Conservatives plan to charge Blue Badge Holders in Council parks. At full Council last night we asked them listen to disability groups and Blue Badge holders to understand the impact these charges will have. Let’s hope they have a change of heart.

Years of economic mismanagement, rising costs and insufficient support have left local businesses struggling.

The government must scrap the National Insurance hike on small businesses to save these community backbones.
