Policy-wise, he was amazing. But it soon became clear to those of us who wanted him in Number 10 (as opposed to those who just wanted to adore him and protect him from the harsh and practical realities of electoral politics) that he wasn't fit for it.

Corbyn never set out to create a personality cult around himself. One formed, regardless. And another issue with it, is that he visibly enjoyed elements of it.

I hope Polanski does better with it, because the bloody stuff is already swirling around him.

I was completely obsessed with Doomlord as an 8yr old. The stories were gripping and dealt with remarkably adult stuff like environmentalism and the threat of nuclear armageddon (especially relevant in 1982).
