About to watch my final film of this year's festival...
Just watched Dreams (sex love) by director Dag Johan Haugerud. The second film in his trilogy was magnificent and lead Ella Øverbye was a revelation as Johanne who finds herself navigating teenage desire. Close to a novel due to the clever use of voice-over, Ella is one to watch for the future!

Next up at New Horizons International film festival is Hot Milk directed by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. I'm a big fan of the book so am looking forward to seeing how it translates to film.
