My one big gripe from the Copeland v Death Riders story. If you're going to have Copeland peel somebody away, it should have stuck.

If someone is trying to kidnap you or your boyfriend, hurting them isn't wrong. Killing them wouldn't be wrong. Upsetting, certainly. But wrong? It is totally unbelievable to me that not one of these characters, particularly the Marine, has said "you just saved your boyfriend's life"

The next episode is mostly focused on the defending character's emotional reaction to hurting someone. And it is believably intense. But all of the other characters, including a former Marine, keep talking about the fight as if it were bad or wrong. It's ridiculous.

The aggressor explicitly states he's kidnapping this guy to use as a hostage against someone immune to his ability. The other half of the couple proceeds to beat the kidnapper until he is unconscious. It is stated that the kidnapper probably has a tbi.
