Current almost-complete neck warmer for my daughter's birthday. Unicorn horns to be added soon. Next time I will suck it up and use the stiff but long-enough circular needle so it doesn't bunch quite so much. Still, isn't it cute?!

Barbie is an ESFP movie. Even weeks after, I'm still thinking about how much it felt like it was made for me, a person who sees details constantly, has big feelings, and knows how to accept concept twists with impulsive abandon.

Barbie is an ESFP movie. Even weeks after, I'm still thinking about how much it felt like it was made for me, a person who sees details constantly, has big feelings, and knows how to accept concept twists with impulsive abandon.

Had some fabulous conversations today about storytelling, deep characters, and pushing boundaries in genre writing that have left me feeling hopeful and energetic. Can I sleep after that? Guess we'll find out! 😅

Been getting some good curls in my own hair lately, but my daughter wins the prize for best hair at the wedding we attended yesterday. Look at those gorgeous ringlets! It reminds me of Wendy from the animated "Peter Pan." I only twisted her hair, no heat or irons necessary! 😍

Okay, when was someone going to mention that they snuck a reference to the DCOM movie "Gotta Kick It Up" into Barbie?? 😂
Also, I loved the Barbie movie. It was made for people who notice things beyond the brightly colored surface, and I went through the full range of emotions while watching it.

Went hiking this weekend with the family. Elevation gains are hard but worth it, and the scents of pine and fresh air gave me back at least a year of life.
