I arrived home yesterday and was greeted by 2 of 3 dogs. "Where is your little sister?" I asked Wolfgang and Dolly. I already knew the answer, though. I stepped into the living room, switched on the lights, and was met by a groggy, grumbly Hazelnut who had just woke up. #dogs #furkids

Taking fully advantage of the unused conference room at work on my lunch break to do history nerd things. Got a ton of compliments on the fountain pen by passers-by.

Today has been the mother of all Mondays. It SUCKS. This photo was from Saturday. It ROCKED. Mondays should try harder to be like Saturdays. Or maybe I should go on hikes on Mondays, that'd make shit way better.

Sunday night smokefest. 3 racks of ribs, two chickens, each with different rubs. Ribs were slathered in homemade bbq sauce. The wife made scalloped potatoes and broccoli. The organic dishwashers were dispatched to clean the cutting board, as it's tradition here (yes, we properly wash the board too)

Last weekend in a nutshell. Went to sleep in 1918 and woke up puking my guts out in 2025. Went home and had a 120lb nurse helping me get better. I at least captured a German prisoner. #ww1reenacting #wolfgangthedog

I haven't even raked my leaves yet, and the tree out front hasn't dropped it's leaves yet, but okay winter is here.

That thing from Australia I told ya all about. Who knows where it's been between Australia and the United States, but it's mine. I'm the second man in my family to call one of these mine. The first was my great, great uncle. #shortmagazineleeenfield #smlemkiii

First Detroit-style pizzas to be baked in the new oven. 50/50 Muenster/Mozzarella mix, cup & char pepperoni, diced jalapeños and some local honey drizzled on it for the sweet/spicy contrast. Really ended this day on a deliciously positive note! #detroitstylepizza #whowantspizza

Thanks for bringing this to my attention- I'll be adding it to my list! Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who has VHS tapes still- I refuse to get rid of some of mine for rather obvious reasons lol

Behold, the pix! Using mine to write notes while I read books. Its simple, but gets the job done!

Anyone else ever start a book that they've already read once? It was a few years back that I read this one. This time I'm taking notes. Yep. Like one does in school. You can take the guy outta college, but you can't take the college outta the guy. #booksky

Road trippin' with one of your besties is good for the soul and your mental health.

Cracking dirty jokes with said bestie is also good for your mental health.

Felt like a true adult today. We got a new gas stove. Also, the cop outside looked like Christopher Moltsanti from the Sopranos. Also, the cops always pull people over right in front of our driveway.

Oh well. Oxtail stew tonight for the inaugural new stove meal!

I tried. Tried going back on those other social media platforms. I could take only so much.

The world is full of dicks. So here's a photo of some sausages grilling.

Remember: the first ammendment isn't a privilege, it is a RIGHT.

Staying positive despite living in a negative world. The last few days have been good. Some highlights:
-Made Spanish cloaked eggs
-Found a new sippin' whiskey
-The wife and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary with Mexican food
-Photos from my old Kodak came out looking old (and amazing)
