Minor correction - so far faculty at Rutgers, Indiana, Nebraska have urged the compact formation. It is at the level of Faculty Senate resolution but not adopted by the administration. The Rutgers president signed on a letter supporting Harvard.
Universities should have independence from the government and following Harvard’s lead, the Big 10 schools which include MI State, Rutgers, Indiana U, etc agree to form a compact to fight off trumps threats. This is how to stand up and fight to protect our democracy!
