You don't want to step all the way to the top of the ladder for safety. It is better to have part of the ladder to hold or lean against.
We have 9 ft. ceilings, and I have a Gorilla 3-step ladder with a built-in utility shelf, which works for me for most things. It is easy to move around and store.

It is amazing to see how much the kittens have grown in three weeks. The first pic is at one day old, and the second is at 3 weeks. They are getting used to being held now. #CatsofBluesky

Momma Reishi is doing much better and is gaining some weight now.
My daughter and SIL learned that she was likely already pregnant again when his co-worker took her in briefly.
She was injured and bleeding on her face and paw, but stayed away, so they put out food and water for her. #CatsofBluesky

Update on the kittens: they are 3 weeks old now and doing well. They are becoming more curious and adventurous every day. #CatsofBluesky

Our pup used to search for rabbit pellets in the yard. She thought they were special treats. She once showed up at our patio door on a rainy day with rabbit poo on her nose!

Our kitties are 6 years old already! How is that possible?
They are so much like siblings in that they love to snuggle and hang out together most of the time, but other times they like to annoy each other. #CatsOfBluesky

If it was his head, it would be memorable. He should know that.
They usually stabilize the area of focus.
No functioning adult has an MRI and doesn't know why.

They are starting to get more fur now, and today they started opening their eyes!
My daughter asked me if I wanted one to keep when they are ready to be weaned. It will be very hard to say "no" to that! #CatsofBluesky

The kittens were a week old yesterday. They all seem to be doing well and have almost doubled in weight.
I'm amazed at how well their young mother has done with them, despite her small size and back-to-back pregnancies. #CatsofBluesky

Momma kitty Ray is doing her best. She is so small! They are weighing the kittens every day to make sure they are gaining weight. #CatsofBluesky

The kitten are adorable, but it was so irresponsible for the previous owners not to spay AND to let her go outside.
My daughter and SIL are making the best of it, but it is a lot since they already having another cat and a dog. #CatsofBluesky

My daughter and SIL took on a foster cat from a co-worker. They were told she had a litter 2 months ago, and they found homes for the kittens. They were surprised to find out the cat was pregnant AGAIN, and had kittens only one week later! Poor kitty - she isn't even 2 yrs old. #CatsofBluesky

I'm sitting with a kitty snuggler right now.

I washed our bed sheets yesterday and laid the clean bottom sheet on the bed while finishing other laundry. I came in to find these two on the bed! I didn't have the heart to move them, and they slept there for hours. #CatsofBluesky

After several days of rain and dreary skies, Gia is ever so happy to snooze with a sunbeam! #CatsofBluesky

Brookie looks beautiful with her multi-colored fur all fluffed up, but she's a tiny girl weighing only 9 pounds! She likes to watch in judgment when we are eating dinner.

Yes, cyclists need a safe lane for travel. In Germany, they have specifically marked areas for bikes next to sidewalks or a divided area next to the road. I've seen many interesting bicycles here with covered side or front areas for carrying children or groceries. Here is a German mail bike.

We suspect our kitties are solar-powered!

Brookie agrees.

I think they know more than we realize. This one opens her eye just as I want to take a sleeping photo. (And I don't have any sound on my phone buttons.)

I went to a 5-level electronics store in Hamburg earlier this year. They have an entire floor of music! Took me back to HS!
