I stopped banking at Bank of America in 2008, and my local bank is great. The customer service and fees are awful. And the stories I have heard from multiple women who have had their husband’s names mysteriously substituted for their names as the primary account owner is obscene.

My aunt worked there, after a brief stint at treasury, for her entire career and when i called her to talk about it getting shut down she burst into tears saying “so many children are going to die”

Agreed. I’m watching his interview on Bloomberg tv. His thoughts on AI are on point—senior people have to go back and fix the mistakes AI regurgitates. It’s not the productivity gain people think it is.

As much as I find CC irritating—and his worship of Mahomes REALLY cringey—I was interested to hear him say that Mahomes had Not Great (or Not Good?) throws in the 4th. My tired Sunday night brain perked up at the rare criticism. 👀

Between the strikes and store closures (there were some major hubs permanently closed in Boston and other cities during the last days of September), I’m really interested to see what Starbucks’ q4 results look like. 👀
