It's ridiculous that making an appointment for a tattoo fills me with terror, but not the tattoo part itself.

I don't think the image I found that said the Buldak Carbonara is very low on the Scoville scale was entirely truthful.
Either way I'm clearly not built for the spicier flavors.

I went to a used book store and got 6 books (4 that were on my TBR, 2 for my kid) which cost me only $39. If you know anything about the price of books in Canada, you understand how excited I am.

Incredible to see a woman my age try to take credit for a concept I've heard about as a child in the 90s.
True crime girlies really think they're smarter than everyone else.

I haven't posted anything in 18 days and I'm suddenly getting a lot of new followers. The people making those bots have no idea how to be at least a bit subtle.

The irony of my health care card being expired right now is that I intended to go renew it this week but now I can't because I'm too sick to even leave my bedroom.

It's terrifying tbh

It might be because I've got a fever, but the What We Do In The Shadows confused me.

I'm seeing people say Receiptify and stats fm have much more accurate top artists/songs for the year than Spotify and yeah I don't know about that, because both receiptify and statsfm are putting a band I've actively avoided most of the year as my 2nd top artist.

I've been talking to Americans online for about 20 years and I still don't understand what deductibles and premiums are.
Why the fuck do some influential people in my country want to import that fucked up system, it makes no sense.

The anniversary of my grandmother's death was just a couple of days ago, and now my great-grandfather is dying.
It's the end of the term at school. I have no idea how I'm going to keep it together.

You can absolutely count on white cis people to waste no time yelling at Black and trans people for not being sufficiently sad about the passing of a racist transphobe.

You know that scene in Community when Troy comes back with the pizzas and everything is on fire?

This is how it feels like to come back to this website after being away for a while.
Wtf is happening?

Love to realize I didn't do the assignment correctly only after turning it in. Big fan of the monthly brain fog that is definitely going to derail my studies.

Canada Post workers are on strike, and my attempts to google how to support them only show me endless articles about "what you need to know about your mail".

Oh no. I just remembered that time when I asked my (cishet) mother if she'd heard from my cousin, and she corrected me, saying my cousin was trans and used he/him pronouns.
I had referred to my cousin by his chosen name. No pronoun used, clear indication I knew about his transition 👁👄👁

I’ve seen enough lib memes from the past few days that solely rely on this trope of “haha what if (insert Republican) was actually a WOMAN? 🤣🤣🤣🤣” so I’m making yet another mute list lmao
