I’m might share some sketches of werewolf Sloan with her kidnapped henchman from ‘The Henchmen’s Guide’ 😆.
A sketch of a young man in his early 20’s, with long hair tied at the nape of his neck, wearing in a knitted jumper, jeans and is barefoot. His name is Miles. He is seated and doing a crossword, using his knee as a table as he leans back into the chest of a werewolf, that is as big as draft a horse and laying behind him. Her name is Sloan. Her head is some height above Miles, looking into the distance, paying him no heed, probably in her own thoughts. She looks like the unsettlingly large cross between a wolf hound and a borzoi with a scraggly mane, human hands and ear rings. A humours sketch of a young man being thrown off a werewolf steed as she makes a sudden turn. His expression is not as stressed as it should be given the rapidly approaching ground; instead mostly being one of wide eyes surprise and not nearly enough fear. This is emphasised with the words ‘Oh Boy’ following his swift downward trajectory. The werewolf is paying him no heed, rather being focused with predatory enthusiasm on her chase. In the sketch, Sloan, a gaunt werewolf with all the cuddly appeal of barbed wire, who you may be familiar with from your nightmares, climbs a grassy incline. On her somewhat lupine back (a definition that hinges on the idea that something terrible has happened to wolf kind) is Theo, a young man in his early twenties with a backpack and a desire to be in bed, but since he’s one of Sloan’s henchman, he’s always fresh out of luck, especially on the bed front; werewolves are not famed for their day time activities. Which is proven in this illustration as Sloan reaches a point in the journey where the morning sun has breached the mountains and thus bathes them both, from the shoulders up, in the heat of a new day. The golden light is a stark contrast from the dark bluish shadows they lurk out of and have been travelling through. Theo does not look impressed by it. Sloan gives the impression that she has seen it before, but will take advantage of the new visibility and survey their route. Sketch of a large boney werewolf, as tall as a draft horse, who has caught her henchmen by the seat of his pants in her jaws. She has her head high and is holding him aloft, while she looks about like a labrador with a duck. She’s having a great time. Her henchman is not.
