Santa is a quantum being.
His probabilistic nature means that he can be in every house at the same time on Christmas. This is why it's vitally important noone sees him. If he's observed the probabilities collapse and only one house gets presents.

Thinking about writing?

1. "After a business trip I drop everything at the door for Mrs. Meyer to sort later. I'll turn on some Tame Impala, sip a twenty year old Scotch and plan my next success."

2. "Obviously you have to unpack, don't you? Make sure the toothbrush is back. Comb. Need them in the morning, won't you?"

Have you finished already?

Where did all of these characters come from? I began world building this week and three characters suddenly became nine, and the plot expanded beautifully!

I blame the first night of eight full hours of sleep I've had in years. I should do that more often.

How old were they when they published their 1st book?
Raymond Chandler = 51
Pulitzer winner Annie Proulx = 57
Laura Ingalls Wilder = 65
Alex Haley = 55
Frank McCourt = 60
Doesn't matter when you start.
It matters that you don't stop.

Per advice, I've compiled the books I'm querying into a single page.

Agents and acquisition editors, my two books:
🫀Near-future Frankenstein retelling (my MFA thesis) in the vein of Never Let Me Go.
🐉Character-driven, literary fantasy with a soul-eating dragon baby.

A Question of Reiki was published in 2022, & my first (& so far only) book. Written from the perspective of my years of experience as a Reiki Practitioner & Teacher.

Next book, out 2025, is a children's non-fiction, about women through history. Very excited about this!

This is still my advice: Become a writer anyway. Fuck it, do it, it won't save you, but it's still a beautiful dream to write novels and short stories and poems and mingle with other dreamers and make art and laugh in the face of death. And writing is constant death. Live más.

I'll start with my November writing journey! I'm participating in a writing challenge this month and have begun a new soft sci-fi novel with suspense and a little romance.
I'm really excited about this, putting everything I've recently learned in my writing courses to use!
