People wonder why #Hutch did so well in #DublinCentral just have a look at the socioeconomics and lack of engagement from other parties with the community.
Throwing bonuses & increases in social welfare don’t win votes. Community engagement, education Investment in services and infrastructure do

People who can’t access housing aren’t reasonable?
People who can’t access adequate healthcare aren’t reasonable?
People who can’t access childcare aren’t reasonable?
People who can’t access acceptable special ed services aren’t reasonable?

Infuriating to see those interviewed on RTE voting for Gov parties as it seems the issues of housing health education don’t affect them

This has sealed who I’ll vote for and it won’t be FG

They tried to eradicate state responsibility for those with additional needs and those who care for them in the referendum and now won’t engage in conversations about ordinary people’s concerns

Not a man nor leader of a party for the people

‘That’s not true’: Harris walks away from voter who says he’s ‘done nothing’ for carers

My latest @rtebrainstorm.bsky.social piece critically examines the shortcomings of education manifestos. It highlights how they often serve as voter-appealing tools rather than blueprints for systemic change and meaningful reform @dcuioe.bsky.social

Why election manifestos miss the mark on real education reform
Election pledges and promises look good on paper, but often lack the depth needed to address complex, systemic issues in our schools

The gaslighting of the teaching profession in Ireland is something to be seen to be believed from Michael O Leary’s comments and the FG response to it to the Minster of Ed calling the teaching supply crisis an opportunity it’s something remarkable

My dad passed away 10 weeks ago and I’ve been staying with my mum at weekends, this morning it felt like Christmas as a child snuggled in my bed in my childhood room. It was a feeling of nostalgia that I can’t just describe but it pained me when realisation of grief set in 😭
