Interesting. I’ve never seen this film. I suppose it goes on the “to-watch” list.

Mileage, it doth vary.

By the time I was two eps into TASK I was like, I do not need this, or want this; I as audience member simply do not care about the fates of these universally annoying fictional characters. And then my month sub of HBOMAX ended and I was like, well that‘s that then, onwards…

Ongoing bafflement that *anyone* of any socioeconomic stripe would ever find any value whatsoever in intelligence-mimicry machines like ChatGPT.

Wrong chords, man. They didn’t even get the chords right.

And customers have long dealt with extreme high prices and extremely plain coffee drinks.

Find a local indie coffee shop: support that instead.

Who can blame ‘em, when this is what they have to look forward to if they stay? 🤷‍♂️

Ongoing WH access is far more important to NYT than publishing a bombshell investigative story that results in banned WH access.

Also, the evidence obviously did not fit within whatever was NYT’s preferred narrative at the time.

Curious, what’s the average age of BlueSky Trust & Safety team members?

Were any of them
born before 9/11? I assume it’d be pointless to ask if any of them were born in, say, the 1960s.

I probably have thousands of pennies lying around in boxes, jars, drawers.

Maybe they’ll be worth 2c each if they’re rare? No? Oh.

At least until the “executives and scientists drastically underestimated the likelihood of retinal damage to drivers, passengers, and pedestrians due to prolonged, daily exposure to LIDAR emissions from hundreds/thousands of Waymo robotaxis“ stories start coming out. 🤷‍♂️

I am increasingly suspicious of people who claim to know.

I loved that flick

Oh, it’s a thrill to discover his body of work. With Panahi I think it is especially important to read about the *making* of each of his films, and the consequences he faced *because* he made the films. A staggering tale. A filmmaker always working at risk of arrest. And yet he persists, bless him.

Many, especially anyone who works at a desk with a computer, will wake up and find their jobs replaced by error-prone, biased, conversational “intelligence-mimic” machines which workers hate, customers REALLY hate, and clueless C-level execs, the board, and investors think are totally swell. 🤷‍♂️
